Kestrel Nest Boxes

The Kestrel is one of the UK's most familiar birds of prey, often seen hovering over roadside verges. Over the last 40 years growing pressures from changes in agriculture and land use have contributed to a decline in their UK population. In the UK the Kestrel now has amber conservation status and is a species of conservation concern across Europe.

Gauntlet Conservation Trust is trying to help Kestrels by providing nest boxes where hopefully pairs will be able to raise young to try to reverse the decline.
